Please permit me to introduce myself;

My name is Charlie Mercieca. I am a professionally trained and accredited canine educator, behaviorist and ethologist in addition to being the owner/operator of Kirkland V.I.P. Dog Training. It is with sincere pleasure that I welcome you to my website.

My work with animals goes back many years and stems from my childhood.

Being the youngest of five children with an extreme age gap and living on a farm many miles outside of our nearest centre, my absolute best friends were the animals that lived on our property, most specifically, our dogs we have owned and cherished throughout the years.

With these canine pals I found true friendship. Always by my side, never judging nor holding grudges, some of the best times I have had were with my cherished sidekicks and because of it and the natural repore we had, being able to communicate with and train them effectively came as easy as breathing itself.

I did not know it then, but a trainer was born and my canine friends and the experience I gained working with them helped to mold me into the man I am today: "Northern Ontario Canine Educator, Charlie Mercieca."

I may not be where I am today without the many dogs I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with.

There are too many dogs to name here. However, I would like to dedicate this website and my life's work to all of them, past and present, and to my human children Brooklyn, Austin and Carmela.

I look forward to forging many more friendships, both with humans and canines.
Therefore, it is my mission to become your trainer and friend for Northern Ontario.
